Sad sad sad

      Hi everybody! This is my last time writing this. When I started to write this blog, was with a feeling of exciting, but months later... I'm here, exhausted, with a lot of homeworks to do and terrible wish of sleep all the day. 
     I don't enjoy a lot this experience, but if I think this, could be worst jaja. If someone ask me about the learning... it's right, I learn a lot of things writing this blog, maybe because the young people learn to enjoy to be sitting in front of a computer. It's really weird. 
       I don't really like this public eye, because remove the romanticism of other way jaja, I don't know, maybe I don't like this space to write because it's pretend get the poetic style, when it's another expression of the hurried modernization, another manifest of "vorágine". 
       Nevertheless,  I don't support the idea of change this space because for learn english it's really good. I'm obligated to learn some words in english and I will remember for a long time. 

But after this I have to write a long homework for university, it's time to write another kind of words.. I hope that my friend Claude help me with the work. See you, dear reader.

CROSSROADS

Crossroads is a 1986 musical drama film starring Ralph Macchio, Joe Seneca and Jami Gertz, inspired by the legend of blues musician Robert Johnson. According to legend, as a young man living on a plantation in rural Mississippi, Robert Johnson was branded with a burning desire to become a great blues musician. He was "instructed" to take his guitar to a crossroad near Dockery Plantation at midnight. There he was met by a large black man (the Devil) who took the guitar and tuned it. The "Devil" played a few songs and then returned the guitar to Johnson, giving him mastery of the instrument.

I like Crossroads, because represent the mysterious of blues, the spirit and feelings of blues. When I heared about Crossroads I didn't want to watch it, because it is a very old movie... Usually I follow recently movies, because it has better definition and is more amazing, but Crossroads can imply you with the story line. The constant duel, the clever boy against the devil, for the mystical power and become the best blues guitarrist in the story... they always want to became the best.

My favorite scene is when Macchio has a guitar duel against Steve Vai, the ringer guitarrist .. and Macchio won playing classical music on a electric guitar..was awesome.

Another scene that makes me enjoy a lot the movie is when Macchio, play in an old place, the song is "Feeling Bad Blues", and that song can break my heart ..

Enzo Faletto

When I think in Enzo Faletto, my mind imagine a man with a fantastic brain and a awesome power of observation... but I never read a book by Enzo Faletto :c, my admiration for Enzo come from the reference of teachers in University.

Enzo Faletto was a chilean sociologist and , he was born on July 14, 1937 and he studied History in the "Universidad de Chile" and Sociology in the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales. 

Fernando Henrique Cardoso and Enzo Faletto published Dependency and Development in Latin America in 1969, the first academic statement of dependency theory. In it, Cardoso and Faletto argue that

“economic development has frequently depended on favorable conditions for exports.”

Dependency and Development in Latin America was one of the most important books of 20th century. 

In 1973 he moved to ECLAC where he held important positions as a consultant to the international body, maintaining its link with FLACSO, returning in 1990 to teaching at the University of Chile, specifically the Department of Sociology, where he served until his last days.

Enzo Faletto died on 2003, leaving a fantastic legacy in Latin America and sociology.

VICENTICO

Gabriel Julio Fernández Capello is a musician and composer better known by his stage name Vicentico. Co-founder and vocalist of the band Los Fabulosos Cadillacs along with Flavio Cianciarulo. He was part of the group since its creation in 1984 to the year 2001, when he began a solo career as a singer.
Vicentico was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on July 24 1964. He grew in a family of artists and at 15 years old, Vicentico was writing songs.

In 1985, Vicentico and Flavio Cianciarulo set up "Cadillac", a modest group of ska music. At the beginning Vicentico just played the guitar, but some years later he began to sing. 
 They released their first album, Bares y Fondas in 1986, since then they have released fourteen more albums. They are one of the most influential and most-referenced rock bands of Latin america.

Vicentico takes an important role on the Argentinian's stage, her personality is important to break with the bored scene take it for the musicians before. 

I like Vicentico for his voice and the attitude on the stage. Always surprising with the band and the political undertones in their lyrics.
On 2002 the "cadillacs" are separated,all the musicians with another project, but on April 7, 2008, Vicentico, announced the band's return from their six year hiatus.

Choose a favorite photograph was very difficult, but after think I choose this photograph.

This photograph has two principal actors Gael García Bernal and Rodrigo de la Serna, acting in place of Ernesto"Che" Guevara and Alberto Granado. This picture is part of a movie called "Diarios de Motocicleta".

The photo was taken to publicize the movie, but it transmit liberty and is friendly.
"Diarios de Motocicleta" is about the travel of Ernesto and Alberto for South America, in a motorcycle. Is a very interesting movie with a lot of feelings and emotions. Also it transmit the fascination of travel and  seeing the world, the happiness of being young and light-hearted.

Maybe I choose this photo, because I love this movie, the sensation of sadness for don't travel, but the expectation of do it some day, and enjoy in a different way the mayfly of being the young man.

Cartoon

Today I'm going to write about cartoons, my favorite cartoon was POKÉMON.

I watched Pokemon eight years ago, and I like it, because it's  fantastic, it represent a fantastic world with different species and different personalities.
Pokemon tell the history of a group of friends, who travel for the world, in the hunt of new "Pokémons". The principal character is Ash Ketchup, the boy with the interesting hat.

Actually I don't watch Pokémon, I don't know why, maybe because TV channels don't broadcast this TV program, my favorite cartoon in  my childhood.

Without a doubt, my favorite character is Charizard, because he throw fire :$, he can fly and was very aggressive. Another interesting character is Squirtle, he throw water in opposition to Charizard.

Technology

Hi again! Today I'm going to talk about technology, a very interesting topic.
 My favorite piece of technology it's my notebook computer. I like it because have a lot of functions and let me stay more comfortable. The notebook computer is a portable personal computer with a clam-shell, and is precisely the quality of portable my favorite, because I can stay in bed.  

I use it everyday, it's very important in my daily nature.

I use it with a lot of functions, for study, play, listen to music, read, send messages to friends. I have it since December 2013, was a gift.

I really like to stay in bed, and it is a reason because I love stay in bed when I talk with friends by facebook, it's important stay relax jaja, another important quality for notebook computer, it's portable, but I don't use it too much, because someone can rob it, I'm very fearful.

Starting with the second class of English I will tell you some expectations, I’ve got expectations for this month, this term and this year.

 Definitely this year is different, because is my first month with a real academic burden. It’s the moment that I will know if I really like this career or, maybe in negative ideas, the month that I will know if I really can study in the university. I expect to get satisfactory answers for these questions.

I don’t join in other activity of at university, because I don’t find it someone interesting. Maybe interesting it isn’t the correct word; I don’t find an activity that makes me grow.

This term I’ve have to approve five subjects for the career (Sociology), and English. For Sociology I have to take Methodology of Social Investigation, Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology and Social History. I hope to approve all of them

Hi! My name is Joao. I was born on the 24th March 1995 in the lovely and peaceful Quilpué. 

Quilpué is the best place I ever meet. It's located in the north of Santiago and is very near in comparison with the rest of the country. But the people are very different...
